We only ever use vegetable-based inks and we run a tree-planting scheme, spearheaded by David Bellamy no less. This means that all of our materials are sustainable and they don't harm the environment. That's why we've achieved ISO 14001, FSC and PEFC certification.

If you prefer to do your own designs or a third-party is doing them for you, that's fine by us too. All you need to do is check our File Supply Guide (download below) to view the design specifications. By doing this you could save a lot of time and money so it's important to get it right. If your designs don't meet the printing requirements we charge file-checking fee, but don't worry it doesn't cost the earth (prices to your right). We have to check every design before we send it to print to make sure it comes out correctly.

Supplying your own files

We’d love to save you money and print your files, whether you designed them yourself or someone else designed them for you, all we ask is that you take advantage of our Disk Hand-holding service if you haven’t used printing.com before.

Disk Hand-holding

Our Disk Hand-Holding service is a comprehensive series of final checks to ensure that your file complies with all of our production requirements.

We thoroughly recommend you let us do this, especially for your first order, or if someone else is creating the graphic file for you. However, our Hand-Holding service isn’t a critique of your design skills. We won’t be checking your spelling or grammar, and we won’t be questioning whether your design will work on an aesthetic level. We can if you want, just ask.

*There may be some issues we cannot check for that are beyond our control, such as corrupt TIFFs/fonts.

Melvin from Harvey Fashions, contacted ourselves to see if we could help improve the presentation of his seasonal marketing.

Sheets of folded and stapled paper were usually sent out to prospects, which had been satisfactory for the past 25 years (mainly because the Harvey Fashions ladies garments were so appealing).

After consulting with our design team, we decided that it would be worth creating an A5 full colour gloss booklet, with A5 single sided inserts; and printing 500 copies for new and existing clients.
